An approachable, kind and bubbly person that will always do whatever she can to help others. Her friends lovingly refer to her as “the golden retriever” in their group because she always puts 100% into everything she does in order to achieve the best outcome for everyone around her.

Mahlie joined Hopkins on June 3rd, 2024 as a Paralegal and is about to become a Trainee Solicitor. She works from our Eden Court Head Office in Mansfield and she is beginning her solicitor’s training in our Residential Conveyancing Team and is looking forward to training in our Medical Negligence Team.

She grew and still lives in a small village just outside of Leicester. From 2021-2024 she attended the University of Birmingham as an undergraduate and her next career phase is attending the University of Law to gain her LPC qualification during her training contract with Hopkins Solicitors. She is a member of the Holdsworth Club, which is the official Law Society of Birmingham University.

When asked why she choose a career path in law she said;

I am passionate about helping people in their times of need and advocating for them when they are unable to do so themselves.

Hobbies

I am an avid dancer and have danced for as long as I could walk. I enjoy keeping busy - spending time with my friends, family, and my boyfriend. I love walking my puppy Stanley – I am sure I keep him as occupied as he keeps me occupied. You won’t catch me sitting still unless I am watching an episode of Greys Anatomy, Bridgerton, a game of rugby or F1 race, or reading my book.
